DRIME past, present, and future...
DRIME began in the fall of 1994 with 10 student body members. They made Vancouver their focus and mission field because they had the burden to reach out the local inner city. Over the past two years the group has grown to have over thirty members and has developed a leadership team. DRIME has continued the Saturday night ministry in downtown Vancouver as well as traveling abroad. In the summer of 1996, a seven member team from DRIME had the opportunity to go on a summer mission trip. The team went throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and then Argentina. In addition to the Saturday night ministry and touring, DRIME has also held two in-college workshops. The workshops allow DRIME to train others in evangelism using drama and equip them to be servants for Jesus Christ. They have just returned from another summer mission trip that started in Vancouver and went across to Montreal. DRIME worked in conjunction with the local churches, reaching out to people of inner cities across North America.
